I started drinking at a young age was born jewish. So there was always alot to drink it's seem that my dad never had it lock up where us kids wouldn't get into it. he always leave beer cans around glasses with wine in it. At the young age i love it. then mom and dad spilt up was put in the foster care homes. I started drinking heavy after finshing school join the army because I thought that would work my using started to get worse there was times I couldn't stand up or do the push up I would get yell at it's took me over 2 years over times to agree I had a problem with using any kind of street drugs and drinking on top of it . I started A.A.& N A meeting when I was In the army I didn't get kick out I was shock the keep me in. after the gulf war I got out of the army and at times dail with P.T.S.D. there time I have flash back of the war but I"M in recovery to learn about and how to cope with it. in life. ON December 6st 2007 I"LL have 4 years clean and sober from any drugs. it's been 5 months that I"VE been off my meds for mental health and doing good I know where to go get the help if I need it there alot of support groups out there. we all have to look at ourself and like they say in the recovery meeting we will love you until you can love yourself. ONE DAY AT A TIME. I know for myself that recovery is there. I belong to NAMI I"VE been to many places to learn about mental health I"M also ON the Nami broad where I live done the family 2 family training and On november 2nd&3rd I"M doing the training for In Our own voice. it's was great to meet the person that made this web site and her family in person awesome awesome job.
